Thursday, December 23rd, 2021 – In her one-woman production “Too Big For Her Britches,” Lisa Pezik takes on some heavy topics to teach her audience about personal growth and learning to love yourself, no matter what the cost. Lisa has committed countless hours creating this performance from scratch and even more time practicing her role to perfection. As an international professional speaker that has trained with some of the world’s top performers, acting, and vocal coaches, this will be Lisa’s first solo show world premiere and debut – but you would never know it.

This production is told through the eyes of Luna, the main character. It follows her on a journey of self-development as she battles her biggest adversary – herself. Through a series of close calls and unfortunate events, Luna finds herself questioning who she has become and where her life has taken her. She is forced to step up, put on her big britches, and realize that she is worthy of love. If you are looking for an amazing evening of entertainment that will have you laughing and crying along with Luna, this production is sure to please. Follow Luna on her life’s adventure through heartbreak, bullying, eating disorders, mental health, coming out of the darkness of generational trauma, and finally finding her glorious light.

The show will be held on March 3rd at 8:00 pm at the WhiteFire Theatre in Sherman Oaks, California (a Livestream option is also available). The production is making its world premiere at Solofest 2022, and tickets are $25.00 USD in person and $19.99 USD for Livestream and can be purchased online https://solofest.stagey.net/projects/7252?tab=details. It’s running time is 90 minutes with no intermission.

Too Big For Her Britches was developed and directed by some of the world’s most acclaimed actresses, writers, directors and music producers such as Heather Dowling, Jessica Lynn Johnson, and Drew Lawrence.

Through this production, Lisa strives to show her audience that we can heal from our past and move on from it. She makes us aware that healing isn’t always easy, but that it is worth the pain to reach the light on the other end. Through Luna’s trials and tribulations, Lisa’s goal is to show the world that we are all beautiful, worthy and capable of putting on our “big britches” and reaching for our dreams!
